As the Covid-19 pandemic started to spread worldwide, our different routines were drastically modified. Of all the changes that occurred, the educational system has been particularly affected. Underserved schools and their families lack the necessary resources to continue their education online. Millions of students are affected. According to Todd, "Anywhere from 30 to 40 percent of area students don’t have internet access at home". Flash is here to help fight NYC's internet and device inequalities.
Our Mission
@FLASH, we are a professional nonprofit platform dedicated to ensure NYC's educational continuity by helping underserved schools transfer their teaching online. We reach out to business' as well as individuals, capable of donating electronic devices to NYC's schools. Our aim is to collect a minimum of 200 devices by January 1st, 2022.
